I Want to Start a Mobile Car Washing Company

Author: Lance Winslow

Many people have watched out the window of their office building and have seen young guys and gals washing cars right there in the parking lot and thought to themselves well that is a pretty good business. I agree and I've been in the business for over 27 years and if you are a go getter, somewhat athletic and like dealing with lots of different customers each day then a mobile car washing company might be good business for you to start.

There are some fringe benefits to owning a mobile car wash company. You will meet lots of people, you will lose weight and most likely you'll get a very good tan. What do you need to start a mobile car washing company? Well you'll need a truck or trailer unit, which will include a pressure washer and a 110-gallon plastic water tank. It also helps to have some magnetic signs on the side of the truck so people know what you're doing. Also you need a little cash on you as you will be constantly making change so you will meet lots of one's and fives on you at all times.

Chances are you'll also need helper because there's so much work to do and make sure you hire someone that has good people skills, is extremely athletic and someone you don't like been around for 8 hours a day. Starting a mobile car wash company is not very difficult and getting customers is not too difficult either. Your biggest problem will be staying efficient so you can wash as many cars per hour as possible. You need to always be thinking efficiency and don't ever forget that. Consider this in 2006.
